My wife and I visited Curacao in February of 2026. We stayed at Sandal's Royal Curacao, Santa Barbara with a beachfront swim-up room. We lucked out and got the room closet to the resort dock with a nice view (building 1, 1st floor, room 1111).

On our first free day, we visited Willemstad and both the Punda and Otrabanda sides of the Handelskade waterfront. We walked across the Queen Emma Bridge (pedestrians only). Back at the resort, we had dinner at Pietra (italian) with a great view of the main pool.

The next day, we got on the water to visit some snorkling spots and Schottegat Harbor (a residential and marina area). We also had some free time at the resort with dinner at Strand (seafood) and entertainment on the beach.

Saturday, Valentine's Day, was a relaxing day at the resort with dinner at Vincent (modern European).

On Sunday, we enjoyed the resort again and had dinner at Butch's Steak & Seafood.

We did a sunset cruise on Monday that first took us through Schottegat Harbor again.

Tuesday: Snorkeling by a tugboat wreck and hanging out at the beach and the swim up room.

We spent our last free day, Wednesday, relaxing at the resort.

We returned home the next day.
