In July of 2021, I was in Oregon for the first time. Along with my dad and my son, I arrived on a train trip from Durand, Michigan to Portland, Oregon on the Amtrak Empire Builder.

After visiting the Portland area, we drove north into the state of Washington.

I returned to Oregon, visiting Eugene, in September of 2023 for a study group meeting. While in town we were able to get a tour of the althletic facilities at the University of Oregon.
